It was our last night in Singapore when my husband and I decided to finally walk into the Meiko Tailor after having walked past many times before. We were looking on the racks at a few shirts when we were greeted by Tailor Chung. My husband looked at many different patterns and picked two. His measurements were taken and we were told the shirts would be ready at 5pm the following day. We returned the next day and they were ready as promised. My husband tried them on and they were a perfect fit! My husband is so happy with his new tailor-made business shirts - the first he's ever had tailor made - and will definitely have more custom- made by Meiko Tailor

I have to admit to some initial trepidation in walking into an unknown (to me, at the time) establishment and ordering a suit, but from the first moment to last, I was impressed with both the service provided and the consummate, professional skill exhibited. Both garments wear like new to this day: the materials have proved to be of high quality, blazer and suit well-crafted and maintaining their original shape, the stitching robust but perfectly executed. I visit Singapore about 1-2 times a year and have been buying custom suits and shirts from Meiko Tailor for years. I've probably gotten about 30-40 shirts and 8 suits over the last 5 years. All have been excellent quality and get tons of compliments. I'm very athletic and find it impossible to buy suits or shirts off the rack without major tailoring that leaves them never looking quite right. Getting clothes made that fit properly is really great and inspires a lot of self-confidence, plus it's way more comfortable. Prices end up being about the same as buying from an upscale store and are much higher quality.
